Surface Go Review

So lets talk about the Surface Go. As a student I’m using this thing daily and so far, I got to say I love this thing. I decided to pick up the surface go sometime in September 2018 for school since my ancient Surface pro 2 died. Surface Go really caught my attention because it was affordable and really compact. I was a little unsure how I’d feel about the small screen, but I’ve gotten used to it. Anyways let’s get to the review on this little thing.

The Key Features

The Surface Go is a small versatile tablet From the Microsoft Surface Series that was released August 2, 2018. It runs Windows 10 Home in S-mode but can be upgraded to either Windows Home 10 or Windows 10 Pro. It also has a front facing 5-megapixel HD camera and rear 8-megapixel facing camera and I got to say the quality on the front camera is surprisingly good. Surface go has an 1,800 x 1,200 display with 217 pixels per inch. The curved edges and the front facing speakers makes the device feel comfortable to hold while in tablet mode, also the 165⁰ tilt stand makes it great too while using it in laptop or studio mode.

Conclusion

So, if you are looking for a basic tablet/PC combo, I’d recommend this to you. With the type cover and pen makes it great to either take notes, draw etc. If any model go for the 128GB with 8GB RAM, you get double the RAM and storage for a fraction of the cost. If that’s still too much I personally own the 64GB with 4GB RAM and its working fine for my basic needs. And most importantly, I love it.
